A Foley Farewell to Chicago 👋

As many of you know, I have been a photographer since 2010. My story is not too different from other freelancers where I picked up a camera, by accident, in high school and fell in love. I took friends senior portraits which led to family portraits which led to weddings.

Up until fall of 2015, I ran my business out of my home town of Milwaukee, WI. That same year, I moved to Chicago and began shooting out of IL. Shortly after moving, I became pregnant early 2017 and had my son in Jan 2018. Between moving to a new city and adding a little one to the world, my photography business has changed drastically and I have been slowly but surely building my client base in Chicago. I am SO SO grateful for new business in this city and cannot wait to continue to grow my brand here.

ALL OF THAT BEING SAID -

I got an email from Sam a few weeks back asking for some portraits of her and her husband, along with their dogs to commemorate their time living in Chicago. They were to leave to their new adventure in Michigan the day of their shoot so efficiency and quality were my top of mind. We decided on the Lincoln Park Boardwalk - a location they have never been to even though they have visited the Lincoln Park Zoo several times. We shot some memories. We laughed. We created magic.
